The minimap is a mod. You can make the scoreboard smaller by adjusting the GUI Scale in your minecraft settings.

You were 99 mining while doing this video? Is it always 2 tick coal from 68-99lvl?

You can start 2-ticking coal mid 60s but it's not 100%. I'd say 2 out of 3 attempts are 2-ticks. To answer your question, yes. You can 100% 2-tick coal at 68+ mining.
