Every two weeks MineScape will host a photography competition with a different theme. Themes will range from a basic in-game skill to a specific location to new content updates. The winning photographs (screenshots) will be uploaded to MineScape’s Instagram (@playminescape), Twitter (@Mine_Scape), and Facebook (@minescape.me). The winners will be mentioned in the post as well as @’ed if requested. Each image helps the server grow by attracting new players and showing off the incredible world that the MineScape team has built and developed. After the submission date closes, the top 10 photographs will be selected by MineScape staff, after which they will be posted in the #events Discord channel for users to vote on the #1 photo, which will be crowned the winner.
Prizes
- 1st place: $20 Cash-Shop & Photographer Badge
- 2nd place: $10 Cash-Shop
- 3rd place: $5 Cash-Shop
- Photograph (screenshot) must be taken in MineScape.
- No inventory bar is allowed in the photograph. (Press F1)
- You are not allowed to edit the photo EXCEPT to darken/lighten certain areas or to blur out certain areas. You may also add a watermark or small areas of text.
- Do not repost other's work or make a recreation of someone else’s work.
- Shaders are allowed (and encouraged!).
- You are allowed to post two images per competition to allow for more creativity. Please include both images in the same post.
- Any screenshot that is not posted in the proper thread for that week will be ignored and not entered into the contest.
