Basically if this formula is the same for minescape as it is for OSRS

It means that even with 99 attack you wouldn't have the same hit chance on green dragons that a lvl 61 ranger with max bonus (+127 range) has, so I suggest releasing something like dragon sword temporarily to balance out the melee scene.

Ran it again for dragon sword comparison, sadly still only 57-58% hit chance compared to lvl 61 range being 67%

Ranged is very overpowered right now. But we want to make sure updates are released correctly. In fact, the abyssal whip came out before the dragon scimitar. In due time we may see the addition of stronger armors and weaponry but it still needs to be released in a good order, no temporary replacements. Realistically I'd expect to put the dragon med helm and dragon longsword on your horizons.
 
The abyssal whip actually does come close to competing with range as long as the player has 70 attack, it would be more or less 65% accuracy vs dragons currently, even with slash attack stryle. Stab attack style of the dlong would be a fair improvement over rune scim/sword at least.
 
There are very few dragon items in Runescape Classic. The few that were created before Runescape 2 was released are:

The Dragon Axe provides a +70 WeaponAim and a +85 WeaponPower bonus. This is the highest weapon power bonus for any weapon. It requires 60 Attack to weild. You can get the Dragon Axe by purchasing it in the Hero's Guild for 200,000 coins after completion of the quest.

The Dragon Medium Helmet provides a +34 Armour bonus, giving it the highest defense for any helmet. The helmet requires 60 Defense. You can get Dragon Medium Helmets by killing King Black Dragons and some other high-leveled monsters.

hmm Would be interesting tbh.

KBD has been talked about as first boss and adding heros or legends guild + quest would be really neat.
