Hello. I am your Friendly Cabbage Overlord.
Call me Cabbage. I'm the Community Manager here at MineScape. I started as a moderator and builder about 2 years ago, shortly after the project had started. I took a break and came back a few months ago. Eager to get a role, I spammed bandit as much as possible to get a staff position. As it turns out, you can actually wear someone down enough that they give up and let you do your thing. Shortly after my 'convincing', FlippingOldschool made his video on the server. This allowed me to presume lots of responsibilities to help out. Now, I'm in charge of ensuring the communities voice is heard, advocating for players right's in the staff team, recruiting to the staff team, helping players, moderating all official MineScape mediums, and pretty much anything that is too boring for Bandit to do that I can take off his hands and make his life just a little easier.
I'm well known in MineScape for my various memes such as "Praise Cabbage" and "Ask Cabbage." I answer just about any DM on Discord I get so feel free to HMU if you ever have questions.
Outside of MineScape I have a loving wife, I own a game development studio, and I'm just about as big of a nerd as you'd expect. I enjoy writing game code in C-Sharp and even playing games such as Zelda (literally any title except Spirit Tracks), CS:GO, SSBU, and SSBM. I'm an ex-project manager for Nickelodeon where I worked on a video game that was sadly scrapped after 2 years of hard work. I started my first company making games at age 12 (don't ask how legal that is) on early game engines and I have never looked back. I've been featured in various STEM related articles after I volunteered my time at a college for a year to research and develop studies around the transesterification of bio-diesal from macro-algae that I collected from nearby sources. In English terms, I turned algae into actual fuel! I even got to try out CRISPR genome editing to try increasing the yield of fuel from the algae.
