{SUGGESTION} Combat Mechanics

Hey guys,
First I'd like to say awesome job so far, love what's being done here.

That aside, I do have some suggestions, major ones, that I'm not sure would even be considered but please consider it as coming from someone who's been in game development for several years.

The combat mechanics: This is what really tripped me up when I started. I do understand that a ridiculous amount of effort would have gone into coding that custom combat but honestly speaking, normal Minecraft combat might have suited what you're trying to achieve a lot more than the current method.

I couldn't, for the life of me, get ranged combat to work. I tried doing it from various distances from the monster, including right next to it and all I got was getting attacked constantly and losing health. My character would at times shoot a few arrows and then just stand there taking a beating.

Standard Minecraft combat with RS like equipment might have just worked much better, since it would actually be a little more exciting than click and wait for the mob to die. Though I understand that, that method is much truer to the original but it doesn't mean you can't improve on it.

I would suggest that you try to incorporate some form of the Minecraft combat system into the game instead since that might actually improve the game considerably for everyone.

Since, you have Minecraft as a base, even if you're trying to reproduce Runescape on here, it doesn't mean you need to strip Minecraft of everything in order to do it. You could merge the two so they work seamlessly together instead.
